I'm a web-centric designer / developer with 20+ years practice creating visual and interactive work for clients and startups across a wide range of industries, well-versed in multiple disciplines and focused on delivering the best possible experience for end-users.

I approach all disciplines with the same mindset, whether it's layout and typography, UX design, motion graphics, branding and identity, building applications with existing frameworks, or writing bespoke, low-level code from scratch; the process remains the same: spark, criticise, iterate.

A traditional graphic design background gives me a solid foundation in semiotics, visual hierarchy and the 'applied arts' process, while my experience at the web development coalface allows me to translate design ideas into clean, flexible and readable code, quickly.

The projects I've worked on have given me insight and hands-on experience in almost every facet of the creative process; art direction, user research, interface design, marketing, SEO, mentoring, project management, copywriting, all things audio, video editing, animation and photography.
